We are pleased to announce that our CEO, Cecilia Polizzi, has contributed expert insights to the Global Terrorism Index 2025, a flagship publication by the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP). As one of the most widely referenced resources on terrorism, the GTI is cited by policymakers, researchers, and media outlets worldwide, receiving 100,000 downloads annually and featuring in 10,000 major news publications.

Our CEO´s essay, "Youth Radicalization: A New Frontier in Terrorism and Security," examines the evolving role of youth in extremist activities against the backdrop of a rapidly shifting threat landscape. It explores the intensification of youth radicalization, with adolescents increasingly engaging in terrorism-related offenses, from disseminating extremist content to planning and executing attacks.

Drawing on recent data, including record-breaking arrests and notable incidents across Europe, Australia, and beyond, the essay underscores the growing risks posed by radicalized youth and assesses their implications for national and global security. It provides insights into current trends and patterns, as well as potential future scenarios, contributing to a deeper understanding of the youth threat ecosystem, foresight, and readiness.

Our CEO´s insights thoroughly informed another key report released alongside the Global Terrorism Index—Lone Wolf & Youth Terrorism—which delves into the increasing role of individual actors and young people in terrorist activities, offering a crucial perspective on this pressing global issue.
